    Good day! Do you know of anyone/anywhere that gives a 110% tutorial on what settings to use during export (and the settings' meaning)? Also, I'm looking for some help on the actual settings (8,16,32 bit, what controls to export, what values to use in UE5 as a good starting point, etc.) to get these things to show up properly. I can't tell you how much time that I have wasted just tweaking things without knowing what I'm doing to hopefully get to an end result. There are also several VDB materials out there (Self made and the on in UE5) that all seem to work a little different from each other. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

      when gaming it is mostly fine and has a bit of "shhh" (don't know how to describe better), didn't measure it (as I don't have device for noise measurement) during renders it is full blast and noisy :D

    When I import the VDB sequence, the list under Source Grid Info is so long that it reaches the Import button and bugs it out. I cannot click on the Import button whatsoever. My VDB sequence was created in Blender.

      Omg, thats probably UE interface issue. Have you tried it in UE 5.4 maybe? Could be fixed in newer version

    I dont understand how you do for the layer structure in Blender !!! there is a step not cler for me! for example for the body ! did you select all parts of body and use Ctrl+j? because after its impossible to solve the Callipers problem !! any solution? thanks

    Hey @Post Processed I noticed that VDBs are very choppy and stuck when Time Dilation is applied. Looks like it is not interpolating especially during slowMo in sequencer. Wondering if you have a fix for this. Thanks for all the content you've been making man. Can't thank you enough. Please keep em coming.

      hey man! This is problematic as you need your VDB sequence also be higher framerate like 60 or 120. That will lead to huge size of the vdb which can cause issues. I think better would be to create a "slow mo" animation and pass this slowed animation to Embergen\Houdini. This is a downside of simulation approaches. That you really need to bake your final animation slow it down/speed up and when it is final - only after that create a sim that will suit your animation

      Yes, there were some improvements in quality and performance, also VDBs now cast shadows in Lumen and are affected by indirect light. The process seems to be quite the same

    You can still push the envelope.. put the AIO on the top of the case, then use the RTX 4090 with closed loop liquid cooler (e.g. MSI GeForce RTX 4090 SUPRIM Liquid X) and put the radiator on the side bracket 😉 maybe I'll do it.. thank you for the inspiration!

    Love this form factor especially here in the Philippines where power outages are common and could be brought to areas with electricity for game development. I just wish more companies have better monitors sku that is color accurate yet still portable.

    Привет , подскажи пожалуйста, почему если я затаскиваю vdb в секвенсер то он там воспроизводится и прекрасно проигрывается , а когда начинаешь рендерить или включаешь gamemode то он перестает работать и его вообще не видно.Галочки playing и looping стоят, Все делаю как ты показывал

      Well main difference is that with legendary edition you get also racing track environment, which has quite good details (it is recreation of Nurburgring) and the highest also includes personal call with discussion or assistance from my side

    hello, i could need some help , is it possible to use an imported geometry only as an Effector und not as an Emittor. I want to manipulate an fire emittor with an imported Geometry but the Geometry himself should not burn. but rather it should effect the emittor with his geometry, i hope this was clear, my english is ugly sorry, , sadly i cant find an option like that. In Blender forexample, when you start a simulation, you can us an Geometry as an Effector inside the Domain Box. I really need this Option in Embergen. Someone can help pls ?

      Yes I agree. it is not.... And it is problem of UE... It is even written in documentation, that VDB when imported ignores world position of VDB :( so gonna wait for update when it actually will also import VDB with proper scaling and transform

      sorry to hear that you didn't find what you've been looking for. But as I state in very beginning of the video I am not a developer, I am basically a cinematographer and I am using Unreal Engine only for cinematics, so that's why I am just sharing my approach on car animation. And this mostly comes from my experience and work with control rig nodes in UE. If you like to know what each node does you just can hover over node or reed the description in Unreal Engine Documentation. I just don't want to waste people's time on reading basically what is stated in the document. If you would like to get into development in Unreal Engine - better check "CodeLikeMe" channel. Or get any sort of UE courses from official training partners of Epic Games.

      ohh... dude... that is A PAIN to do train coaches... as it needs advanced rigging and needs to calculate an angle of the spline, BUT the problem is that you can't get HIT RESULT from a spline to calculate angle of rotation... So train is much harder case to work on and I wasn't successful in it

    Hello! I am here after watching your Unreal to DaVinci ACES workflow tutorial which was amazing. Thanks for that. I am bit confused now after watching this LUT tutorial. You already had a LUT in Unreal and then you prepared footage for DaVinci. Tweaked the footage and then created a new LUT and reapplied it back into Unreal Post Processing. So is there no need to color grade anymore in DaVinci if you render this with Movie Render Queue ? Also can you please explain how this would work wrt to Unreal to DaVinci ACES workflow ?Thanks a lot!
